Lan Reserva Rioja 2005 ($18).
Lan is one of our favorite ���value���
producers making consistent wines
designed to be enjoyed young. It���s well
balanced, well made, reliable. It���s not
particularly complex but it���s what wine is
supposed to taste like. No major flaws, no
mustiness, a good buy. You frequently find Lan
Reserva on restaurant lists where it is a good
choice if not marked up excessively.
