centre for world peace. The

alleviating the suffering of the
ill, the poor and the hungry
is known worldwide. Malta���s
commitment to peace in
the region is internationally
recognized. Malta���s recent
participation in the rescue of
thousands of people caught
in the melee of armed and
bloodied Libyan revolution
further enhances Malta���s solid
international reputation as a
centre dedicated to peace in
the world. ��
