Of his own artistic process, Creswell writes,
��� I have a working knowledge of sailing, so from the
rapidly changing viewpoint of a fast RIB on a bouncy
sea, with camera lens blurred by spray, I had little more
than the thrill of the moment and visual memory with
which to work. This was new to me. I am accustomed
