his year the International Contemporary Furniture
Fair evolved into, simply, ICFF. No longer an
acronym, it is now the fair's sole name. In tossing
aside its unwieldy former moniker it has gained a
wider scope, becoming the most comprehensive
fair dedicated to contemporary design across all
disciplines. All is embraced: faucets, furniture,
fabric and more are here in droves, showcased
as heavyweight bulls amongst the china-shop
sensibility of the Javits Center's architecture.
Considering the multitude of exhibitioners we
cannot write of trends as we once knew the
