Perhaps most revolution-
ary of all is the Summer De-
sign Studio, a seven-week
summer program teaching
at-risk teens literacy and
math through the scaffold of
product design. Design and
S.A.T. preparation classes
are held on Pratt Institute's
campus so that students can
experience the reality of col-
lege. The Publicolor Schol-
arship Fund for Community
Service provides on-
going support
through staff
c o u n s e l -
ing and
s c h o l a r-
ship, and
p a i r i n g
m o t i v a t -
ed stu-
dents with
a mentor.

Publicolor's as-
pirations and achieve-
ments goes on and on. Its
sponsors include, not sur-
prisingly, Benjamin Moore
who donates "every drop of
paint used at Publicolor"; and
on the Board of Directors,
architect Massimo Vignel-
li, among illustrious others.
