atmosphere. The NoMad Library comprises thorough
collections of books on subjects relevant to the hotel,
such as, inter alia, France, New York City and Food
and Wine. The NoMad is famous for President Obama
having held a $40,000 a plate fundraiser during his 2012
campaign; the Library, in fact, is incorporated into the
dining room and bar. Says Wine, "The library has gotten
rave reviews and part of that we think is due to the very
comfortable feel that the books provide—everyone
realizes 'someone paid attention to each and every one
of these titles and they are here for a reason!'"
