By the second half of the nineteenth century and in several
instances well before, lest we forget the Dutch and the
early decades of the Republic, a discerning group settled
in Millbrook to pursue a wide range of country sport,
several with ancient antecedents, including Beagling.
Today, Millbrook sporting activities include skeet shooting
and hunting, leisure horseback riding, as well as the
competitive, including dressage, point to point, show
jumping and polo, bird watching, nature walks and
Beagling.
