It was the wife, herself a
talented artist, who dreamed
up the idea of a mural for the
dining room, working with the
designers to develop imagery,
and eventually a charming
maquette which revealed the
effect the mural would have in
three dimensions: ���magic!��� The
pastoral, romantic scene was
painted by decorative artists
from William Racke Studios;
���the enchanting effect achieved
was worth the wait.���
Of the project as a whole,
Tucker enthuses, ���my staff and I
assembled colorful antique rugs,
custom designed furnishings,
extraordinary antiques and
fanciful accessories covered in
decorative flourishes. Interior
surfaces became vehicles
for hand-mixed paint colors,
specialty finishes and decorative
glazes that add a depth of style
and enhance the architecture���s
elegance. Myriad bespoke
elements���French moldings,
inlaid floors, French-inspired
iron-and-bronze stair railings,
