3. Seaside Beach, Florida Panhandle
Beautiful sand and surf. Adjacent to the architecturally
noteworthy New Urbanism resort village of the same name,
much admired for its architecture and planning by the
Prince of Wales. There are numerous architecturally notable
beach pavilions on a low bluff and countless planned
community seaside activities, particularly for children. Rent a
house. Warm water, families and noteworthy classic revival
architecture and variations thereof.

4. Ta���u, American Samoa
This volcano covered by rainforest is considered by some to be the mythological
origin of Polynesian peoples. Ta���u is surrounded by coral reefs and shoreline which
incorporates timeworn stones in Jacuzzi-like pools. Other than the occasional
islander, and then only rarely, you are alone in tropical majesty. A South Seas idyll
with excellent hiking.
