stylish and intellectually satisfying scheme.
In other rooms during my visit to Sixtieth on Fifth, there
were exhibitions of photographer Irving Penn���s work and
the largest exhibition, Serenity in Croatia, curated by Kip
Forbes and Bonnie Kirschtein, Forbes Collection Curator,
of Croatian artist Zvonimir Mihanovic���s work, characterized
by solitary small boats adrift in
the sea.
For Coulter, this design project
was all the more exciting
because the room which ���I
designed is a vibrant place, a
crossroads of commerce, art
and taste, bringing together
these worlds. It was great
seeing Warren Buffett and
Bon Jovi in this room, singing
together while Bill Gates,
Oprah Winfrey and Donna
Karan listened.���
Coulter commissioned a Forbes family crest, embroidered
on a pillow. Below it are the words, ���Grace guides me.���
Consummate good taste guides the Forbes world and
Coulter���s distillation of it, smartly curated and designed. H
