onacelli Press, among
their lexicon of highly informative,
inspirational and beautifully produced
tomes, has published a quintet of books
dedicated to showcasing excellence in
contemporary design. Collectively they
satiate a reader and visualist desiring
to experience the realm of design within the perimeters

they comprise elements such as wall to wall carpeting
and Greek Revival architectural elements and Romantic
taste in art that in their day were considered distinctly
modern.
Each book also represents a highly
personal,
almost
autobiographical
statement by the designers, an account
of the genesis of an individual sensibility
made manifest through the wishes,
