Christopher's work within print journalism and television has
prepared him for his newest venture, an electronic magazine
simply entitled HYLAND. It is a courageous decision indeed
to restrict your readership to those who both own one of those
magical tablets and are willing to subscribe online to each
monthly issue, but it is entirely characteristic of Christopher's
instinct to do things his own way. The benefits of embracing
the iPad format are extraordinary, moreover, for Christopher
and his editor can extend an article as long as they wish, devise
various strategies for moving between one article and another,
and – most importantly of all – produce a magazine whose
photography is literally light years ahead of the depth and
clarity afforded by traditional print journals. As an occasional
