a short step from a paper-based platform to one in the 'cool'
medium of television, which has come in the form of segments
commissioned by NBC LXTV entitled 'Tips of the Trade.'
As I first watched Christopher's segments, I was not surprised
to discover what a natural presence he enjoys in front of the
camera: articulate, charming, and disarmingly direct. When he
tells you how to frame your pictures or mix up the furnishings
in your home, you feel like going straight out and following
his commands. His energy and enthusiasm are contagious,

an uncanny ability to identify what both television producers
and audiences will embrace. His segment on Grey Gardens
was, not surprisingly, nominated for an Emmy in 2010.
