Few fans remain who can say that they witnessed first
hand the tension in the air as George ���Babe��� Ruth approached the plate, or the confident swagger in his stride
and intense focus of his countenance. We have the privilege of seeing in muted colors, the colors of memory, the
statuesque visage of ���the Bambino���, looking more like a
battle hardened gladiator than a sportsman, as he selects his weapon of choice, a bat.
