untouched, except for some accommodations for the
Order at the very top of St. Angelo and very limited
restoration elsewhere. The story will go on.
Christopher and I are still as excited today about this
magnificent project as we were on the first day we
met, jotting down notes, as we dreamed of the various
European and International activities that could be
introduced to make this historical fortress, once again in
the hands of the S.M.O.M., an unparalleled international
tourist attraction and center for peace and good works
to assist the poor. Today, both the Republic of Malta
and the S.M.O.M. promote peace and understanding
between all faiths and peoples.
