C ompanies from Germany, Italy and America, among others, are finding Malta a prosperous destination for their businesses. Take the case of Daybreak Data, owned by Texas entrepreneur David Monahan, who moved his company to Malta in December 2010. ���The engineers with the most talent, creative juices and entrepreneurial spirit have hailed from Malta���hence the reason for me exploring Malta as our global headquarters���I tell my friends we are going to become the Microsoft of Malta.��� Joseph Sultana, managing director of Ascent, a local software house, says of Malta, ���We have no oil, no grain and no minerals; all we have is people.��� Mark Sammut, Sales Director K & S Marketing, who for years has sold shelving employing high tech design systems to illustrate installations, believes, ���Malta is the ideal base for the work our firm does in North Africa.
