Stimulating art has pride of place:
bronze sculptures by Tom Otterness in
the study; bronzes by Lynn Chadwick
in the dining room; Liao Yibai���s Rose
Bag in the drawing room. I have
two favorites for different reasons:
the 49 inch Cinderella High Heel, in
the master-bedroom for its sheer
audacity, and the sculptural chair by
Frederick Farg in the entrance hall
because, however artful, it beckons
each arrival with a simple message:
sit down, rest, stay awhile.
Bradfield believes that decoration
���is primarily a product of fashion.���
An aspect of current fashion is
deftly achieved here. In his words,

reflected throughout, precisely what
the clients were seeking: a serene
refuge from the high-octane bustle in
