While this apartment at first glance appears clean and
minimalreflecting the clients wisheswith singular
ability Bradfield works his magic, allowing outstanding
and notable design elements to appear collectively
harmonious. But the closer examination of each part
reveals the profoundly remarkable, even Baroque, nature
of some elements. In his own words, monochrome
and minimal this interior may be, but mundane it is not.
Numerous examples abound. Both the drawing room
and master bedroom rugs are superbly executed, the
former tone on tone and the latter with a subtle ocelot
patterning. The study walls are stitched leather and that
rooms cabinets are lacquered birds-eye maple. The
dining tabletop is cracked glass and the entrance hall
walls are covered in pale blue silk.
