the ground smacks of hubris, but in this instance it defines brilliance. The effect is that much more remarkable
when the cooling mist is released around the delicate
plantations under and to the sides of this monolithic
mass. As in other instances the attending mist creates
a surrealistic aspect not unappealing to a modern Magritte. Shrubbery comprising clusters of round topiary
balls enhance the effect.
These architects love triangles. This relatively unused
cousin of the square and rectangle seems to inform
the shape of walls, the placement of balconies, the
placemenet of stairs in relationship to abutting spaces,
not to mention the vertical open shape of courtyards.
