Landscape architect Morgan Whitlock implemented Dr.
Knapp���s vision for a splendid farm, now comprising five hundred acres, over gently rolling hills. Yearling and broodmare
barns derived design inspiration from the 1920s and ���30s,
replete with modern requirements. When not organizing the
breeding for the twenty broodmares on the farm and managing Monticule���s runners, Dr. Knapp oversees Monticule���s ninethousand tree nursery.
Spruce and pine comprise the first planting. Having matured,
