In my day there was LEGO, now there is OgoBild, quirky pastel biomorphic attachable toy parts invented by a group of Pratt Institute alums. OgoBild is billed as an amusement for all ages, and I can see why: it is as easy to imagine the resultant assemblages in a gallery as a playroom, given the contemporary taste for Japanese anime-inspired images and sculptures. Wheels, hands, feet, wings: OgoBild proclaims an awakening of one's inner child.
