Mark Andrew Pettigrew is rather less morbid, but no less mindful of the power of jewels to summon the presence of what has gone before, whether lover, friend, place or journey. He is steeped in all four phenomena, creating, mostly through the medium of charms, pieces that transmit actual material traces of what is past, or lost.
