lacquered wood and metal rods is a portable monument to her sane treatment of open-plan spaces. Her 1927 Adjustable Table, which, along with her Bibendum Chair (not in the exhibition) are perpetually avant-garde icons of the modern movement. Charlotte Perriand's, Le Corbusier's and Pierre Jeanneret's Revolving Armchair of 1928 is another nice example of tubular steel merged with the pneumatic.
