It was my particular delight that the HYLAND Award was given by one good friend of mine to another, from Christopher Hyland, founder of HYLAND Magazine, to Juliet Kinchin, curator, scholar, writer, teacher and pioneer in the academic and curatorial advance of the decorative arts, both of whom I have known for more than twenty years.
