Santa & Cole made an industrial style table lamp that is all sleek, spherical economy. Stick Bulbs, by Rux, are the simplest lights imaginable, LED "table torches" and pendants, long cylinders emitting light, eminently suitable for fans of artist Dan Flavin. In the realm of classics, traditional and modernist, two makers came to the fore. Brendan Ravenhill showed large pendant discs very much in the manner of the early Bauhaus; while the Spanish firm, Lladro, exhibited a fanciful pastel chandelier, by postmodern designer Jaime Hayon, that was replete with ceramic shades and hanging ornaments, a completely novel take on a venerable form.
