HYLAND is a University Professor of Comparative Literature at Princeton. Sally Quinn is director of the American Museum in Britain. He was director and librarian of The Boston Athanæum and previously Librarian (Director) of the Houghton Library and Senior Lecturer on the fine arts at Harvard University.
