an entire side of the house; within it is an eclectic array of
furniture and pleasing riot of candy colors. Rattan furniture
upholstered, variously, in turquoise, Schiaparelli pink,
lemon yellow and lime green vies with a 'fifties aluminum
dinette set and severe, tautly woven rattan daybed.
McKay has an interesting eye for both
severity and its opposite, excess, balanc-
ing these two poles of interior design in a
symbiosis as alluring as it is comfortable. H
