HYLAND ime, talent, treasure: all three were richly in play at the November 2013 Holiday House, in which [number] New York and international interior designers banded together to raise money for the Women's Breast Cancer Foundation, founded by Evelyn Lauder. Holiday House, of which Leonard Lauder is Honorary Chairman, is now co-chaired by founder and breast cancer survivor Iris Dankner and Christopher Hyland. e pair, together with Design Chairmen Alexa Hampton, Mario Buatta and om Filicia, orchestrated an event and series of spaces that can only be described as luminous. e rooms at Holiday House reached a pitch of creative expression combined with the design profession's nuts and bolts expertise which ensures that aesthetic ideas are executed with craftsmanship and high finish. e unifying theme of Holiday House 2014 was celebration: the exuberant interior. None was more exhilarating than Gregory Alan Cramer's Graffiti Room, wherein splashes and scrawls of hot pink street smart paint and neon vied with a traditionally ornamented Christmas tree. Ally Coulter, with Cindy Citrone, created a con- servatory/sunroom entitled 'Tis the Season, dedicated to the NFL, with a spectacular oversized pair of back to back sofas, upholstered in the Op-Art velvet swirls of Christopher Hyland fabric. NFL helmets, protective gear, footballs and memorabilia thronged the walls and tabletops. T HYLAND
