years an extraordinary education. In today's world, I don't
believe the same necessarily applies. Designers, for the
most part, really do need a formal education, and definitely
a strong background in technology.
Is that what you look for in potential employees?
Yes, I am a dinosaur when it comes to technology.
The challenge of finding talent?
People who mesh with you, who share a vision. They can
be brilliant with AutoCad, but can be out in left-field when
it comes to interpreting a particular taste and signature. It
is not that easy to find the right people who can become
team players.
