In all, Lyons Demesne is less than a half hour's drive from
Dublin. It has its own 800-meter landing strip and the only
privately owned helipad that can operate at all times, a
testament, surely, to the Ryanair owner who last lived there.
Yet somehow, it is difficult to imagine the idea of anyone
wanting to escape Lyons Demesne and the breathtaking
countryside, spring-fed lake, and endlessly rolling hills that
