The living room, with its two tall arched windows, is a
feast of contrasting patterns and passions. On the floor
is a lively blue and white striped Moroccan rug, at the
windows, curtains of sparkling white fabric with a blue
pattern. An armchair is covered in a fabric patterned
in large diamonds in contrasting shades of grey and
a luxurious silver fox
throw adorns the bluegrey velvet couch. One
of Passal's favorite
details is tufting, and by
one window is a sinuous
white chaise longue,
heavily tufted, as is
the long, skinny settee
which occupies the
back wall of the room.
There, also, is a round
table surrounded by
three chairs of different
pedigrees. On the wall
facing the sofa is Passal's signature, a jauntily framed
and hung selection of contemporary artworks.
The bedroom is luxe, calme et volupte, with an iron bed,
tautly dressed in heavy, chaste white sheets, planted
upon a deep, velvety cut pile rug in pale grey. The walls
