The BMW 3200 CS coupe was the last model derived the post-warV8 car family
The Turin designer Nuccio Bertone was the creator of its timelessly elegant body,
first debuted in 1961 at the IAA Frankfurt Motor Show.
It might be said that the BMWs of the last half-century,
as outstanding as they have been, are precursors to
those created between 1999 and the present, a period
during which BMW has excelled. The Z8, built between
1999 and 2003, substantially constructed by hand,
accelerates from zero to 100 km/h in 4.7 seconds.
The current BMW M Coupe is an engineering tour de
force, its no-nonsense shell enveloping an ingenious
engineering achievement. H
