n a casual Sunday afternoon in Paris, as I was
sitting at Cafe Charlot, I became acquainted with jeweler
Jonas Bowman, whose workshop/boutique is also on
Rue de Charlot. He readily offered to show me some of
his wares.
Jonas' friendly demeanor and welcoming nature made
me question his background; sure enough he has in him
a bit of American blood. Born in New York to an American
mother and a British father of Indian descent, he eventually
moved to Paris and his been designing jewelry since 1992.
