During the 1920's, a previous owner, Pearl Stavert,
entertained on the estate the many children of friends
who had been posted to India. More recently Hoscote
has been run as a renowned five-star accomodation,
(the resulting alterations to the building predominantly
positive, almost all bedrooms are now ensuite). Whoever
next occupies Hoscote will hopefully continue the
tradition of congenial times, the pleasures of company
and earth the greatest bounties of this estate. H
