Sandanona heading to the first covert

illbrook country is as good as it gets for classic field
pursuits within an hour and a half of New York City. It is
the home of the Sandanona Harehounds, Beagling and
Basseting, founded by Anne and Morgan Wing during the
early 1950's.
Although a small village within the town of Washington,
Dutchess County, New York, Millbrook is the name
commonly applied to the entire area. For millennia, Native
Americans and, during the last several hundred years,
newcomers have pursued game among its hills and dales
just to the east of the mighty Hudson and the towering
Catskill Mountains beyond.
