across the Square, beyond the towering obelisk. The
entire setting is pure Zeffirelli.
This writer, Campari and soda in hand, watched the
Roman sunset behind the Basilica, eventually the
windows of the Papal Apartments were illuminated,
the only light visible in the night sky, strangely solitary,
romantic and spiritual. H
