Peter's Square. Its sister hotel, Palazzo Cardinal Cesi is
just down the way: they are the only two hotels within
the realm of Vatican extraterritorial boundaries.
With 35 mostly small rooms, including a sequestered
floor of six spacious rooms and one large suite, all off
a commodious hall, this classically Roman boutique
hotel occupies several of the top floors of an ancient
Augustinian monastery, bordering St. Peter's Square. It
was the chosen residence of Timothy Cardinal Dolan just
prior to his entering the sacred Conclave which elected
the new Pope.
