gave on the Mount, nor withheld redemption or love.
He was quite keen to let us know that he and all of us,
stress, all of us, are children of God.
The Vatican Museums, in embracing wide swathes of
contemporary art, calls everyone to the Mount. The
Museums' work of conservation is ongoing, as is the
Sermon on the Mount, alive in all ages, a call for diversity
in the human and spiritual community. A museum such
as the Vatican Museums, need not function only as
conservator but also as an impelling social and spiritual
force for all ages.
