e knew Carey Maloney���s book would
have serious impact as we viewed in its opening pages
several double-page bleed images of art work from
different eras and cultures, depicting scenes dense with
human interaction with objects. No captions, just the
visual, a baker���s dozen and more of fascinating stuff.
Stuff is designer Carey Maloney���s paean to the pleasure
one takes in searching for, acquiring, owning and living
with things. But, actually, the title does not do justice
to the intellectual and innovative aspects of his project,
paramount among them, its digital components, a first
ever.
