the folk art category is a 19th century high wheeler bicycle along with early game boards on the stand of Just Folk of Summerland, California. Speaking of Tramp art, Clifford Wallach of Manalapan devoted his entire stand to that quixotic specialty. Of the picture frames and even furniture, Wallach says Tramp art is mostly made from wooden cigar boxes carved by simple pocketknives and dating from 1870 to 1940. ���It���s American folk art and wherever men smoked you find Tramp art,��� says Wallach adding that such artists did not use patterns for their creations. ���Tramp art was totally spontaneous,��� he adds. Americana can be found at Gary Sullivan Antiques of Sharon, Massachusetts. Especially prominent are tall case clocks dating from the federal period. Front and center on his stand is a Queen Anne high chest in walnut with a veneer front. ���The demand for exceptional antiques is high,��� says Sullivan. On view at H. Malcolm Grimer of Santa Fe is a set of Sioux drawings returned to the Metropolitan Pavilion for its five day run beginning on January 23, 2013. They are priced from $3,000-$15,000. ���It���s highly unusual to find ones all from the same ledger book which is really a biographic portfolio of Indian life,��� says Grimer. With so many categories of art, antiques and design on display, this fair is a winner. H
