F or its second edition, the Metro Show which returned to the Metropolitan Pavilion for its five day run beginning on January 23, 2013 is marked by innovation on a number of fronts. A total of 34 dealers with 15 new participants took center stage. ���I���ve never seen such diversity of offerings far beyond traditional antiques,��� says Caroline Kerrigan Lerch, Metro Show director. Folk art, contemporary art, Native American Indian art and historical design were also prominently featured. Stephen Shore of Boston exhibited a pair of 1950���s decoys flanked by a Pennsylvania appliqu�� quilt and a Michigan Tree of Life quilt Taking in the fair on opening night were collectors Jerry Lauren and Beth Rudin DeWoody, actress Blythe Danner, and Leigh Keno of the Antiques Road Show. The interior design set also turned out for the fair. Among them were Mario Buatta, Ellie Cullman and Stephanie Stokes. On view at Pace Prints is a Helen Frankenthaler wood cut, Snow Pines from 2004 while nearby Stephen Shore of Boston exhibited a pair of 1950���s decoys flanked by a Pennsylvania appliqu�� quilt and a Michigan Tree of Life quilt.
