celebrated the widespread success and acclaim that
Greg Jordan so deserved.
Luckily for me, whenever I start to miss Greg, I have
only to walk through my house and I am comforted.
Every space in this warm, classic, shingle house reflects
Greg; his sophisticated aesthetic, his understanding of
symmetry and balance, his intuitive mastery of proportion
and scale. More importantly, the house recalls how Greg
poured his heart and soul into his projects and into his
friendships.
Greg will be engraved in memory. As a special Greg
talisman, in my bathroom étagère there is a GJ No. 1
scented candle. I will not burn it, but I do open it up from
time to time to enjoy the earthy fragrance that brings me
back to Greg.
His work energized many careers, and his sensibility
and devotion linger in the lives of those who shared his
journey. H
