ability to capture, by way of many eyes the pathos as well
as the beauty of everyday American life". The exhibition
continues to affirm the museum founders' intention to
familiarize the British public with the world across the
pond.
Touring the museum, one is struck by how comfortably
the collection rests on England's fair and green hillside.
