external trims are perfectly situated and proportioned.
There is always about this house the element of surprise
and the unexpected. A perfectly sited pool of majestic
demeanor and dimensions, however grand, comfortably
occupies a space just behind the house at the edge of
the great lawn arboretum.
Although components of the design hearken from grander
architectural premises, Greg has ingeniously incorporated
elements drawn from the host of small seaside and country
buildings that characterized the flowering of the Arts &
Crafts, picturesque, rural vernacular revival movements in
HYLAND
