At the elbow of Cape Cod, the Wequassett is situated at the top of an
east-facing rise which offers grand views of Pleasant Bay and the Atlantic Ocean. Whitewashed buildings and clapboard cottages, which
are spread across 27 acres, house 120 guest rooms and suites. The resort has four restaurants, two pools, two beaches, boating and water
sports, four tennis courts, and eighteen holes of championship golf.
When reserving a room, one guest advised, it is a good idea to ask for
one away from the dining and wedding facilities for the peace and
quiet you expect when you vacation on Cape Cod.

The main inn of this historic hotel, built at the turn of the century,
captures the era with the original grand staircase, which leads from
the elegant reception area to two floors of guest rooms, all of which
were renovated in 2009. Also housed in the inn is the main dining
room, the tavern and fitness center. The South Lounge, with its floorto-ceiling windows and cushy couches is great for relaxing in front
of the fire, afternoon tea, or chatting with friends. From the outside
veranda, you have a grand view of the Atlantic Ocean. Twenty-six
cottages are situated throughout the resort, atop a seaside bluff, set
among gardens, or along a quarter-mile of private beach.
