Two
cats,
Phoebe
and Batman, preside,
Phoebe having been
born at Norfolk prison
and weaned by the
prisoners. The Hunters
son, Nathaniel, loves
gadgets and trucks,
his motorcross trophies
displayed above the
kitchen hearth and his
dayglo road jacket has
pride of place in the
mudroom below yet
another intriguing small
painting. Patinaed chairs
memorialize family and
friends gathering at the
kitchen table.
The house
comfortable,
is cozy,
creative.
One corner of the guest room - the paintings are by Roger Curtis (1910 - 2000), a
student of Aldro Hibbard and his son David
(1950 - ) who studied with both his father and Ives Gammell.
