ASTOR LIBRARY ���This room evolved in a very interesting way. Mrs. Astor called me at the office and invited me to tea the following day. Mrs. Parish had recently had the sofa in her library recovered but I was not involved. To make a long story short, we met and the story was this: she wished to tell me that a decorator from London���whom we all knew- was in town and she wished to have him do more work in the room, basically fabrics, but was frightened of Sis���s reactionrightfully so!��� HYLAND
