Snapping back into the moment, I took a deep breath,
and the reality began to sink in. The press release and
the invitation had already gone out. It was evident that
Mr. Hadley valued his privacy and we agreed that we
would keep the matter from the public. He didn���t want
anyone to see him this way.
It rained hard that afternoon, an excuse to keep Mr.
Hadley in my company. We chatted for an hour or so.
