After careful evaluation and debate regarding the seven
2011 award categories, the vote was unanimous to
bestow the 2011 Lifetime Achievement Award upon
none other than design industry giant Albert Hadley.
After the 2011 honorees were confirmed, I quickly
acted to contact the recipients and share the news.
However, with his firm closing in 2009 and me still fresh
and wide-eyed to the cast of characters in New York,
having recently assumed my position in the city, I had no
idea how to reach Mr. Hadley. Who would have thought
