In my role as director for the Decoration and Design Building
I am responsible for the coordination and production of
the Stars of Design Awards, from inception to execution.
Founded by Charles S. Cohen, a fulcrum of the design
community and owner of what is known popularly as the D
& D building in New York City, the awards process begins
about six months in advance: scouting out nominations
